Research by Pew Research Center, revealed yesterday, indicates that 86 percent of Internet users have taken steps to protect their privacy on the Internet.
In the same survey, 59 percent of Internet users do not believe that more private data can be completely protected on the Internet and 55 percent have adopted specific measures to some people, governments and other organizations monitor their online activity.
The poll was revealed after documents released by former consultant to the National Security Agency (NSA) U.S. reveal that the agency will have ‘stuck’ measures of privacy on the Internet.
