A group of Portuguese researchers is studying the possibility of introducing the antennas of mobile phones in garments, such as buttons, for example.
The idea, according to a Specialist INOV-INESC, is to make the sign of the network to be better distributed and also leave less vulnerable to radiation caused by the antennas.
“The idea is, incorporating electronics in garments , can increase the quality of service and the rate of transmission when we are using mobile phones “alternatives that are worked also thinking about protecting the health of users, Lusa agency Luís Correia, INOV-INESC the coordinating investigator.
The same source, when the antennas are spread using the various garments, the signal received through the network tends to be higher, making the connection more stable and, on the other hand, users are not as subject to radiation since these would lower, taking into account the scattered signal from the antennas.
The idea arose in connection with the annual meeting of EurAAP (European Association on Antennas and Propagation), and part of various investigations on the propagation network signals in telecommunications.
